Aqtoomar museum

• History of the museum The museum "Aktumar" of the Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University was organized on November 8, 2002 on the basis of Order No. 174.

  According to the state program "Cultural Heritage", through traditional, cultural and spiritual values, students develop the qualities of respect for the language of their country and the history of multinational Kazakhstan.

  This is a scientific, informational, cognitive and educational cultural place at the university, which educates modern specialists who are competitive on a global level, who have absorbed the highly moral ideals and cultural and historical values of their country.

  The museum covers the period of the university's history from 1944 to 2022, conducting scientific research on historical archives and rare photo and video materials, and the university's genealogy. Since the university is a unique educational institution that trains girls in Central Asia and the CIS region, the museum's exposition presents the role of the Kazakh girl in the formation of the Kazakh state and her existence from antiquity to the present. The museum is located on an area of 200 sq.m. and includes: the museum's exposition, consisting of 5 sections, 1 large panel, 5 figures in ethno-style clothing, 11 large and 13 small glass cases. Copies of the documents used for the museum exhibition were obtained from the archives of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Central State Archive of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the University Archive.

  Goals and objectives of the museum "Aktumar": to foster students' love for their Homeland, respect for their language, the history of their country and other peoples of Kazakhstan through traditional and cultural spiritual values formed over the centuries, to form love for their country based on national heritage; continuous promotion of the historical glorious development of the university through historical archives and photographs in museum tours; developing students' passion for scientific research and creative work through museum archives; formation of students' cognitive search for the values of the museum world by means of museum pedagogy; to promote the training of comprehensively qualified specialists based on museum pedagogy through historical archives.

  The museum's exposition consists of 5 parts:

  • The edification of mothers is a pledge to the people
  • History of the University
  • The Girl's World Ethno collection
  • Creativity of girls
  • Their role in society

  Participates in all events held in accordance with the university's plan, holds conferences, meetings, round tables and museum exhibitions in accordance with its plan in connection with significant state dates.
