On October 18, 2025, the Department of History of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Art conducted a field lesson on the topic “Historical Monuments – National Heritage.” The event was held within the framework of the 11th of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals – “Sustainable Cities and Communities.”

The lesson was attended by first- and second-year students under the guidance of Aigerim Mukkan, head of the “Young Historian” student club. Participants visited the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve “Esik,” where they learned about the history of the Golden Man, the culture of the Saka tribes, and the archaeological treasures of the ancient era.

During the excursion, students had the opportunity to delve deeper into the rich historical past of Kazakhstan, connect with its cultural heritage, and feel the spirit of ancient civilization.

Such field activities help foster young people’s interest in the history of their homeland and cultivate respect for national heritage and cultural values.
