A meeting between the leadership of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU) and a delegation from Sussex University (United Kingdom) took place at QyzPU.

The main goal of the meeting was to strengthen the strategic partnership between the two institutions and to develop new joint initiatives in education and research.

The parties proposed implementing joint master’s programs and a Split Site PhD program as part of the development of international cooperation in education and scientific research.

In particular, the programs under discussion include:

  • 1 + 1 MA in Education and Gender Studies
  • 1 + 1 MA in Education and Inclusion
  • Split Site Joint PhD in Education and Pedagogy (2026–2030)

The implementation of these programs will provide QyzPU students and faculty with extensive opportunities to gain international academic experience, enhance research potential, and integrate into the global educational space.
