On October 22, 2025, the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University hosted a spiritual and patriotic festive evening titled “El Mereyi – Republic Day!”, organized by the Seraly Kaniyev Scientific Library in collaboration with first-year students of the Social Work program.
The purpose of the event was to strengthen patriotic spirit, foster respect for the nation’s history, enhance national identity, and promote the achievements of Independent Kazakhstan.
The evening began with a patriotic melody symbolizing the spirit of the nation. Students presented artistic compositions and theatrical performances dedicated to the historical significance of the Declaration of State Sovereignty of the Kazakh SSR, adopted on October 25, 1990.
As part of the program, participants recited patriotic poems, performed songs and dances celebrating Kazakhstan’s independence and unity, and took part in an intellectual quiz, after which active participants received commemorative gifts.
At the conclusion of the event, Asem Otegenova, Director of the Seraly Kaniyev Scientific Library, expressed gratitude to the organizers and participants for their enthusiastic involvement and high level of preparation.
The festive evening “El Mereyi – Republic Day!” became a meaningful event aimed at nurturing national consciousness and respect for the values of Independent Kazakhstan.
