QyzPU is implementing a large-scale project aimed at promoting the teaching profession and preparing school students for their chosen specialties as part of its collaboration with rural schools.

According to Berik Zhubanyshov, Leader of the History educational program, Associate Professor, and Candidate of Sciences, a specific action plan for the 2025–2026 academic year will be approved under a bilateral memorandum of cooperation. Under this plan, university instructors will work systematically from the beginning of the year until June.

The first stage involves identifying students with a natural inclination for teaching and conducting social research. Experienced lecturers from various university departments will teach school students about the fundamentals and nuances of the teaching profession.

According to Bakhytzhan Saparov, Director of the Institute of Social, Humanitarian Sciences and Arts at QyzPU, the university has opened a special pedagogical classroom at the Comfortable School in the village of Kemertogan, providing career guidance for senior students.

“Our goal is to popularize the teaching profession, prepare school students, and enhance the professional qualifications of teachers in rural schools. Five of our university’s institutes are working together in this direction. This initiative is an important part of our strategic program for the development of rural schools,” — noted Bakhytzhan Zholdybaiuly.

Gulmira Raisbekova, Director of the Comfortable School in Kemertogan, emphasized the importance of this partnership and expressed confidence in the effectiveness of the initiative for rural schools.

“We hope that from their school years, children will become aware of their professional choices and their responsibility as future teachers. University instructors provide professional support to students and teachers in a specially equipped classroom. We are confident that this initiative will bring positive results,” — stated Gulmira Raisbekova.

The implementation of this project will strengthen the connection between rural schools and the university and create new opportunities for high-quality teacher training in Kazakhstan.
