On October 23, the Department of Biology of the Institute of Natural Sciences at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU) held an educational session dedicated to the great poet, thinker, and enlightener Abai Kunanbayev, titled “Abai – the Wise, Abai – the Unique of the Kazakh People.”
The main goal of the event was to familiarize students with Abai’s life and creative legacy, to convey through his prose and poetry the values of humanity, diligence, and the pursuit of knowledge, as well as to develop students’ linguistic richness, artistic thinking, and moral and spiritual qualities.
The program consisted of several parts. In the first part, students presented an overview of Abai’s life and works. Then, they performed a **dramatic scene from The Book of Words (Kara cozder) ** and sang “Közimnіn Qarasy” as a choir. The next stage featured an intellectual quiz, where participants answered questions about Abai’s writings.
At the conclusion of the event, the hosts noted:
“Abai lives in our hearts. His wisdom is a light not only of the past but also of the present and the future. Each of us should strive toward the ideal of the Perfect Person that Abai spoke about.”
The educational meeting “Abai – the Wise, Abai – the Unique of the Kazakh People” became an enlightening and spiritually enriching event, aimed at strengthening national values and fostering the moral and cultural development of students.
