On November 4, 2025, the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU) hosted an official meeting with representatives of the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan.
The meeting was attended by Yerkyn Zhumankulova, Vice-Rector for Social Development and Student Affairs; Bakhytzhan Saparov, Director of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts; as well as representatives of the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan.
During the meeting, the parties discussed joint projects being implemented under the Memorandum of Understanding and Cooperation and identified new areas for future collaboration.
In particular, from October 27 to November 8, 2025, the Department of Choreography and Art Management at QyzPU organized a short-term internship program for faculty members of the State Academy of Choreography of Uzbekistan.
Participants of the internship include:
- Irina Sultangirova, Acting Associate Professor, Head of the Department of “Choreography Pedagogy”;
- Aydin Yeshimbetova, Associate Professor of the Department of “Choreography Pedagogy”;
- Elena Kari-Yakubova, Lecturer at the Department of “Theory and History of Art.”
As part of the program, participants are introduced to the university’s educational and research processes, attend open lectures and practical classes, and actively exchange experience with faculty members of the Department of “Art Management and Choreography.”
At the conclusion of the meeting, both parties expressed their commitment to further expanding academic and cultural cooperation, as well as to developing joint research projects and creative initiatives.
