At the initiative of Professor Mukhametkali Mataev, Doctor of Science and Professor at the Department of Chemistry, an online lecture was held by Professor Noel Thomas from Cardiff University for students and faculty members.
Professor Thomas delivered presentations on relevant topics in organic chemistry — “The Olefinic Bond and Its Significance” and “Single-Electron Oxidation and the Olefinic Bond” — sharing the results of his scientific research and new discoveries in the field of chemistry.
