Today in Washington, as part of his participation in the C5+1 Summit of the Heads of State of Central Asia and the United States, President of the Republic of Kazakhstan Kassym-Jomart Tokayev met with the recipients of the international “Bolashak” scholarship program.

The Head of State spoke with Kazakh youth who are pursuing their studies and research internships at leading U.S. universities and learned about their academic and scientific achievements.

It should be noted that this year marks the 32nd anniversary of the “Bolashak” program. Over the years, it has become one of Kazakhstan’s most successful national initiatives, providing talented young people with opportunities to receive education at the world’s top universities and to master advanced scientific and technological fields.
