At the University, within the framework of the courses “Professional Ethics and Identity” and “Stage Speech”, organized by the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts and the Department of Choreography and Art Management, students attended the musical-educational theatrical ethno-performance “Bastapty” by the Center for Active Longevity and Preservation of Folk Traditions of the Nauryzbai District of Almaty.

The main goal of the event was to introduce a broad audience to the national heritage, showcasing the traditions and values of the Kazakh people through stage language, acting skills, and elements of art management. During the performance, students gained detailed insights into the everyday life, customs, music, and features of the stage art of the Kazakh people.

The event helped connect the educational process with practical experience and shaped the professional perspective of future specialists in the field of culture and arts. Students had the opportunity to observe and analyze the structure of the performance, directorial decisions, the use of stage language, and the integration of ethnocultural elements.

The director of the performance, actor and director Nurzhan Tutov, shared his professional experience and provided students with valuable information about stage culture, acting skills, and the significance of national theatrical traditions.
