The Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts, together with the Department of Choreography and Art Management, organized a master class for students of programs 6B11102 – “Cultural and Leisure Activities” and 6B02102 – “Choreography”, within the framework of a cooperation memorandum with the Alatau Theater of Traditional Arts.
The main goal of the master class was to provide students with professional experience in the field of culture and arts, introduce them to the features of traditional and contemporary performing arts, and develop students’ creative thinking while helping them define their future professional paths.
The master class was conducted by Adlet Tamenov – stunt director, martial arts master, and choreographer at the Alatau Theater. He shared his professional experience and provided students with valuable information about stage culture, acting skills, and the specifics of traditional arts.
The event allowed future specialists in culture and arts to gain a deeper understanding of stage movement and acting improvisation, as well as the significance of traditional songs and dances. Students had the opportunity to interact directly with Adlet Tamenov and ask questions.
Moreover, the master class strengthened collaboration between the university and the theater, paving the way for joint creative projects.
