The Institute of Philology of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University held a theatrical and poetic evening dedicated to the 140th anniversary of Mirzhakyp Dulatov — an outstanding Kazakh cultural figure, educator, poet, and public activist.

The main purpose of the event was to revive the spiritual heritage of the Alash intellectuals in the minds of young people, to present Mirzhakyp Dulatov’s ideas to the modern generation in a new format, and to foster interest in literature through the synthesis of theatre and poetry.

A distinctive feature of the evening was the combination of poetry and theatrical art, which offered a fresh perspective on the artistic value of Dulatov’s legacy through stage performances, dramatic montages, and poetic compositions. Students presented his poetry, journalistic works, and historical image, bringing his legacy to life on stage.

The event also featured collaboration with the creative organization “Albeni’s” of the Kazakh National Agrarian Research University. Young talented participants and students from acting-related programs of both universities performed on the same stage, contributing to the strengthening of spiritual and cultural ties.

At the end of the evening, participants emphasized the importance of Mirzhakyp Dulatov’s work and ideas for modern society and highly appreciated the creative achievements of the students. The event contributed to the preservation and development of cultural and spiritual traditions and helped increase young people’s interest in literature and the theatrical arts.
