On November 26, 2025, the international forum “Tarikhtan tagylym, onerden rukh” was held at the “Comfort School” in the village of Kemertogan, Karasai district. The event was organized with the support of the Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University (QyzPU) and with the participation of leading scholars from higher education institutions of the Republic of Türkiye.
The main goal of the forum was to strengthen scientific and cultural cooperation between Kazakhstan and Türkiye, discuss new directions in history, art, and spirituality, and promote national values among the younger generation.
According to Berik Zhubanyshov, leader of the “History” educational program and Candidate of Sciences, the forum made it possible to unite art and history, and through joint projects of Turkish and Kazakhstani scholars, introduce young people to national values.
“Today we have brought together two fields—art and history. We promote the history of Türkiye and Kazakhstan and discuss relevant topics. Together with invited scholars from Türkiye, we are implementing several projects based at the ‘Comfort School.’ Among them are fostering creativity and artistic development among youth, as well as providing methodological support to school teachers,” he noted.
According to Gulmira Raisbekova, Director of the “Comfort School” public institution, such forums offer rural schools a unique opportunity for international exchange and the introduction of new educational methods.
“A month ago, we opened a pedagogical class jointly with QyzPU. Under the memorandum with the university, active work is now underway. The key purpose of this event is to facilitate the exchange of experience between our teachers and scholars of international standing. For a rural school, this is a significant opportunity,” the school director emphasized.
The forum brought together scholars from QyzPU and Türkiye, as well as schoolteachers from the Karasai district. The program included a plenary session, discussions on Kazakh–Turkish cultural ties, master classes on art and spirituality, and a discussion platform for young researchers.
PhD and renowned designer Mariyam Eziyeva from Akdeniz University (Türkiye) attended the forum specially to deliver a lecture for teachers and share her international-level expertise.
“Our main goal is to provide students with knowledge and education in a new format. In the era of digitalization, it is important to pass on history, art, and culture to future generations in an updated way while preserving traditions. The technologies we use today are those children will apply in the future. I believe that together with QyzPU we will be able to continue implementing joint international projects,” the international expert noted.
Following the forum, proposals were adopted for the development of joint scientific projects and cultural programs, and professional ties and exchange of experience among participants were strengthened.
