On November 21–23, 2025, the Institute of Botany of the National Academy of Sciences of Azerbaijan (Baku) hosted the 3rd International Congress “Apitherapy and Nature” (IANCO25). The large-scale scientific forum brought together leading researchers from Turkey, Algeria, the Philippines, Pakistan, and other countries to discuss current issues in the field. Among the participants were representatives of the Department of Biology of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University.

As part of the scientific program, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Associate Professor Gulshat Anarbekova delivered a presentation titled “Features of the Ecological Niche of Heteroptera Biodiversity,” presenting the results of her research to the international scientific community.

In addition, Candidate of Biological Sciences and Associate Professor Aigul Mamataeva presented a poster report titled “Analysis of the Antioxidant Potential of Plants Used in Traditional Medicine.” Both works successfully passed independent peer review and were included in the electronic proceedings of the congress.

As part of international collaboration, the university representatives received valuable scientific publications—the Red Book (2 volumes) and Plants of Karabakh. These materials will help strengthen the university’s scientific and educational resources and expand opportunities for further research in biology and related disciplines.
