At the Institute of Natural Sciences, in the Department of Biology, an open lesson summarizing the semester was conducted on the topic “A 15-Week Study Aimed at Exploring the World of Fish.” The lesson was organized by Candidate of Agricultural Sciences and Acting Associate Professor Baktygul Raimbekova.

The event was attended by Professor Erdogan Çiçek of Nevşehir Hacı Bektaş Veli University, a specialist in biological sciences, who evaluated the students’ research projects.

The main goal of the open lesson was to deepen students’ theoretical knowledge in the field of ichthyology, develop their research skills, enhance their ability to scientifically analyze the biological characteristics of aquatic animals, and strengthen their research culture.

Students of the “Biology” educational program participated in the open lesson, presenting the results of their 15-week research projects.

Based on the results, the best projects were awarded first-, second-, and third-degree diplomas, as well as special nominations.

This open lesson, dedicated to scientific inquiry and the practical skills of students, undoubtedly made a significant contribution to improving the professional competence of future biologists.
