Within the framework of the Memorandum of Cooperation signed on April 17, 2023, between the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University and the State Choreographic Academy of Uzbekistan, a short-term internship for faculty members from Uzbekistan was held from December 8 to 13, 2025, at the Department of Choreography and Art Management of the Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts.
Associate professors of the Department of Management of Choreographic Ensembles of the State Choreographic Academy of Uzbekistan—Erkin Saitova and Durdana Abdulkhakimova—arrived at the university. As part of the exchange of experience, the specialists conducted an informative master class on December 11 titled “Features of Uzbek Folk Dance.”
During the session, the instructors presented the performance characteristics of Uzbek folk dance, movement plasticity, stage accents, and stylistic features, and also conducted practical exercises for the students.
The event contributed to strengthening creative and professional cooperation between the two educational institutions in the field of choreography and expanded the students’ cultural and artistic horizons. For university students, the master class provided an opportunity to gain deeper insight into the traditions of national dance culture.
