The Departments of Physics and Informatics held a seminar titled “Pedagogical Measurement and Assessment,” aimed at providing a comprehensive discussion of assessment practices in secondary and higher education systems.
The primary objective of the seminar was to enhance the culture of assessment in education and to promote the implementation of modern pedagogical approaches.
As part of the event, specialists from the National Center for Professional Development “Orleu” – Sandugash Oralhanovna Komekova, Gulzhanat Gabdullakhmetovna Baibolova, and Orynbek Isaulу Zhaksým – delivered presentations on the specific features of assessment in secondary education institutions.
In addition, Nurbike Dzhumabaevna Zaurbekova, lecturer of the department of Physics, presented an analysis of standards and distinctive features of assessment systems in higher education institutions. Gulzhan Perdebaevna Mazhibaeva, lecturer of the department of Informatics, highlighted the methodological foundations for designing assessment tools within a digital learning environment.
Concluding the seminar, Gulnaz Ibragimkyzy Salgaraeva, Director of the Institute of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies, emphasized the importance of integrating theory and practice in advancing assessment culture.
