The Department of Chemistry of the Institute of Natural Sciences organized the traditional XII Republican Research and Practice Conference for school, college, and university students, dedicated to the birthday of D.I. Mendeleev.
The main objective of the event was to foster students' creative potential, enhance their public speaking and scientific writing skills, and stimulate interest in research activities and scientific project development.
The conference focused on four key areas:
Track 1: Modern methods of shaping students' scientific knowledge: the role of digital technologies and interactive learning.
Track 2: Contemporary research in natural sciences: relevance in the digital age, achievements, and innovative directions.
Track 3: STEAM education in the digital era: interdisciplinary integration, innovative opportunities, and future trends.
Track 4: The present and future of natural sciences: digitalization, artificial intelligence, and the transformation of science.
During the conference, students presented their initial research projects to an expert committee composed of the university's leading faculty and active researchers. Participants gained valuable experience in scientific defense and academic publication.
