A traditional sports competition among students was organized at the sports complex of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University to mark National Sports Day.
The main objective of the event is to strengthen cooperation between the university’s institutes, develop students' teamwork skills, and foster an environment committed to a healthy and active lifestyle through national sports.
This year's competition was held in a unique format, with students competing in traditional Kazakh sports, specifically in such disciplines as tumaq uru, arkan tartys, and qol kures.
Teams from all structural subdivisions of the educational institution participated in the event, which was organized by the University’s Department of Physical Education and Sports.
According to the results of the competition, winners and prize-holders who demonstrated outstanding performance were awarded special diplomas. Furthermore, students Aigerim Makyt and Takhmina Aldibek were presented with special diplomas for their outstanding contributions to supporting national sports and promoting cultural traditions.
