A ceremonial meeting dedicated to the Day of Science Workers was held on April 12 at the "Gylym Ordasy" building in Almaty. Within the framework of the event, an exhibition of scientific achievements by domestic scientists and inventors was organized. The exhibition featured innovative projects, new technologies, and products developed under the grant programs of "Science Fund" JSC.
The gathering was attended by representatives of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Almaty City Administration, academicians of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, university rectors, heads of research institutes, leading scientists, and young researchers.
During the event, academicians presented their research results and delivered reports on pressing issues in medicine, biotechnology, archaeology, genetics, and the commercialization of scientific developments. At the conclusion of the meeting, scientists and young researchers who have made significant contributions to the development of science were honored. Aktolkyn Turlykhankyzy Kulsarieva, the Vice-Rector for Research and Strategic Initiatives of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, was presented with the Academician N. Bazanova Award.
Following the ceremony, with the support of the Almaty City Administration, the scientists planted tree saplings in the "Alley of Scientists."
