As part of "Science Decade 2026," the Department of Physics organized a scientific seminar titled "Analyzing Research Data: Practical Application of SPSS and MAXQDA."
The primary goal was to train researchers in quantitative statistical processing using SPSS and qualitative data analysis (texts, interviews, observations) through MAXQDA.
The speakers were Ayaulym Keneskanova and Satiram Rybykova, second-year Master's students in the Physics program. The seminar was led by Nurbike Zaurbekova, Associate Professor of the Department of Physics and Candidate of Technical Sciences.
During the session, participants emphasized that systematic data analysis is essential for achieving reliable research outcomes. Using SPSS and MAXQDA tools not only improves research quality but also enhances the precision and scientific validity of the findings.
Attendees exchanged practical skills, highlighting that science today relies on rigorous, evidence-based analysis rather than theory alone.
