The Department of History of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University organized a republican intellectual Olympiad for school students titled "The Alash Idea and Independent Kazakhstan: historical continuity and modernization."

This event, dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the 160th anniversary of the national leader Alikhan Bokeikhanuly, was held in an online format.

The goal of the event was to deepen students' historical knowledge, explain the historical continuity between the Alash movement and Independent Kazakhstan, promote national values, and shape the civic outlook of the younger generation.

During the intellectual competition, participants underwent two rigorous stages. In the first round, students wrote a scientific essay on "The National State in the Views of Alikhan Bokeikhanuly and Modern Kazakhstan," providing a profound analysis of the Alash leader's political legacy in connection with modern statehood values. In the second stage, candidates participated in a three-level quiz, demonstrating their knowledge and logical thinking by identifying historical figures and sacred sites, as well as completing comprehensive test assignments.

The Olympiad was attended by 11th-grade students. At the end of the event, all participants received certificates, and the winners were awarded special diplomas of various degrees.

This intellectual competition contributed to expanding the historical horizons of the younger generation and increasing respect for national interests and the idea of Independence.
