A comprehensive seminar titled "Modern approaches to inclusive education: teacher training (in the system of Kindergarten – School – Higher Education)" was organized by the Department of Special Education of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University in collaboration with the City Inclusive Resource Center of the Almaty City Education Department.
The goal of the event was to identify evidence-based effective models for training teaching staff who provide education and comprehensive psychological and pedagogical support for learners with special educational needs.
The event was attended by industry experts, representatives of the Almaty City Education Department, and teachers from general and preschool education organizations.
During the seminar, modern paradigms of inclusive education, strategies for developing professional competencies of teachers, and methods for implementing innovative educational technologies were extensively discussed, followed by a meaningful practice-oriented exchange of views.
It is worth noting that the Center for the Development of Inclusive and Special Education operates on the basis of the university.
