Students of the "Music Education" program from the Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities, and Arts at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University reached a significant milestone at the International Choral Music Festival "Zhubanov Kökthemi – 2026," held in Aktobe.

This prestigious art competition was dedicated to the 120th anniversary of Akhmet Zhubanov, the founder of Kazakh professional music, a prominent scientist, composer, conductor, People's Artist of Kazakhstan, and academician.

Leading professional choirs from the Republic of Kazakhstan participated in the international festival, showcasing their creative excellence. Amidst high competition, the university’s "Girls' Choir" stood out for its unique performance style and was awarded the Diploma of the Laureate of the III degree.

This achievement was made possible by the dedicated efforts and professional guidance of the choral directors Zh. Daulet, R.Yu. Baltieva, and accompanist Marina Arkhipova.
