A meaningful meeting was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University between the members of the "Silver University" project and the faculty of the Department of Physical Education and Sports.
The goal of the meeting was to increase the social activity of the older generation, ensure their adaptation to modern technological processes, and promote the principle of lifelong learning.
During the meeting, the mechanisms for project implementation and the plan for upcoming digital literacy courses were discussed in detail. Participants addressed current issues regarding the adaptation of innovative educational programs to meet the needs of elderly people and shared constructive proposals to enrich the project's content.
The Center for Professional Development and Additional Education plans to further develop the project in collaboration with the Department of Physical Education and Sports, as well as other institutes.
It is worth noting that the "Silver University" is a global movement aimed at the full integration of older adults into social life, their self-development, and personal growth. The project prevents the social isolation of the elderly and creates conditions for them to master modern forms of education. This strategic initiative has been systematically implemented at QyzPU since 2022, demonstrating high results.
