The traditional XVIII Republican Subject Olympiad in the discipline "Theory and Methods of Physical Education" under the "Training of Physical Education Teachers" educational program was held at the Kazakh Academy of Sports and Tourism.
The Olympiad aimed to unlock the professional and personal potential of students, their self-awareness, and their creative abilities and practical skills in the field of physical culture and sports.
Seventeen higher education institutions from all over the country participated in the subject Olympiad. In particular, leading universities and institutes from Karaganda, Turkestan, Taraz, Uralsk, Kokshetau, Arkalyk, Semey, Kostanay, Aktobe, and Petropavlovsk competed in the event.
As a result of the intense competition, the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University won 2nd place in the overall team standings. In terms of individual performance, the Kazakh group secured 2nd place, while the Russian group took 4th place. Additionally, Zhasmina Nusretillayeva was awarded in the "Best Scientific Project" category.
The students’ success was supervised by Masters of Pedagogical Sciences and Senior Lecturers Erdos Niyazakynov and Danara Tauasarova.
