The Institute of Pedagogy and Psychology hosted a poster gallery exhibition titled "Lesson Study: From Research to Results," marking the conclusion of students' research projects.
The purpose of the event was to present the results of students' graduation projects using the Lesson Study approach, facilitate professional discussions, and create a shared platform for exchanging advanced pedagogical practices.
During the event, future educators successfully defended 49 posters showcasing their findings in the field of Lesson Study.
Sandugash Komekova, a representative of the National Center for Professional Development "Orleu" in Almaty, attended as a special guest. The expert conducted a professional analysis of the students' research and, together with the commission members, evaluated the posters based on content, evidence, and visual design quality.
The Lesson Study approach, which formed the basis of the exhibition, is a unique pedagogical research method aimed at improving the quality of teaching. It involves collaborative lesson planning by teachers, close observation of student activities, and continuous refinement of teaching methods based on research findings.
During the poster defense, students demonstrated not only their theoretical knowledge but also their ability to effectively apply it within real classroom settings in schools.
