Within the framework of the press tour for national media representatives, a green planting event organized by the Institute of Natural Sciences and the Department of Biology took place on the university campus.

It is planned that the area with flowers and plants planted jointly by the rector, students, and journalists will eventually become a dedicated green zone named the "Journalists' Alley."

This noble initiative was organized as part of a unique campaign titled "Green Step: Nature on Stone," aimed at enhancing the ecological culture of learners.

In addition, the environmental event is based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, including the promotion of responsible consumption and production, as well as the protection of terrestrial ecosystems.

During the campaign, the university leadership, journalists, and students contributed to improving the city's environment by planting greenery on the campus, while also demonstrating their creative abilities.

The participants of the green campaign painted natural stones, decorating them with ecological slogans and images of nature. As a result, these eco-art creations have become an integral part of the university's landscape design.

Highlighting the significance of the event, the Director of the Institute of Natural Sciences Gauhar Omiralykyzy stated that this movement reflects the youth's responsibility toward the environment. In her speech, she noted that the team closures aimed not only to plant trees but also to inspire society through waste recycling and eco-art, emphasizing that sustainable development begins with small daily habits.
