As part of the Festival of Pedagogical Ideas, a practical seminar-workshop titled "The scientific library as a researcher's partner: information resources, data, and infrastructure" was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, organized under the initiative of the Seraly Kaniyev Scientific Library.

The main goal of the event was to elevate the research and pedagogical productivity of faculty members and researchers to a new level by utilizing the modern capabilities of the library.

Specially invited representatives from Informascope and the "Epigraph" database presented practical cases on working with international information resources, the features of inclusive education platforms, and effective ways to publish articles in the international Scopus database.
During the practical seminar, participants went through the full cycle of scientific research, gaining valuable experience in stages ranging from literature search to plagiarism checking, and actively participated in the "Test Yourself as a Researcher" interactive quiz and the Research Sprint format.

During the gathering, Chair of the Managing Board – Rector Beybitkul Karimova delivered a speech and emphasized the role of science and information culture in the activities of a university lecturer: "In a pedagogical university, every lecturer must be a role model who passes on the culture of working with information to future teachers. Therefore, access to reliable sources is the foundation of your pedagogical mastery. In this regard, the library is becoming not just a structure, but a full partner connecting us with the global scientific community," the rector said.

At the conclusion of the event, the Rector and University Vice-Rectors honored the winners of the "TOP-5 Faculty Members" and "TOP-5 Departments" nominations for being the most active users of the MyLOFT platform, and presented valuable gifts to the participants who demonstrated top results during the workshop.
