The President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, reviewed and expressed a positive opinion on the book "The Kurultai Phenomenon," co-authored by Omarkhan Nurtayuly Oksikbayev, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Doctor of Economics, Professor, and prominent state and public figure, and Zaripbay Zhumanuly Orazbay, a scholar, orientalist, and Turkologist-linguist.

In his letter, the Head of State noted the special significance of this research, which demonstrates the deep historical roots of state governance traditions in the Great Steppe.

It is worth noting that the new Constitution, which paves the way for a new historical stage in the country's development, entered into legal force on July 1 of this year. In this regard, expressing confidence that this newly published work will provide the general public with valuable information on the role and importance of the Kurultai institution in society, the Head of State conveyed his gratitude to the authors for their diligent work.

As a reminder, the presentation ceremonies for the book "The Kurultai Phenomenon," published in Kazakh, Turkish, and English, were held in the cities of Almaty and Astana.

This fundamental study, prepared under a project of the university's "History of the Great Steppe" Research Center, was written based on nearly ten medieval manuscripts translated into the Kazakh language for the first time, and is aimed at strengthening national historical science and national consciousness.
