Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University hosted a scientific round table entitled "Women in the History of the Golden Horde: Power, Diplomacy, and Culture."

The objective of the event was to comprehensively examine the role of women in the political, diplomatic, cultural, and spiritual life of the Golden Horde, as well as to discuss modern approaches to studying female leadership in medieval Eurasian states.

The scientific gathering was organized within the framework of Head of State Kassym-Jomart Tokayev's initiative aimed at the systematic study of the Golden Horde’s heritage in collaboration with the international scientific community, the revival of national history, and the alignment of the values of the Ulus of Jochi with modern civilization.

Speaking at the opening of the meeting, the Chairman of the Board – Rector  of the University, Beibitkul Karimova, stated: "Studying the history of the Golden Horde through the lens of prominent women is a requirement of our time. For many years, history was primarily narrated around rulers and military campaigns. However, contemporary historical science proves that women played an exceptional role in social development, diplomacy, and culture. Our mission is not only to train highly qualified specialists but also to nurture female leaders with strong historical consciousness and deeply rooted national values. I trust that the recommendations arising from today's scientific discussion will serve as a foundation for new research."
