Second and third-year students of the Department of Physics at the Institute of Physics, Mathematics, and Digital Technologies of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University participated in the international Chem-E-Car engineering competition held in Karamay, People's Republic of China, on the basis of China University of Petroleum.
The competition aims to apply students' theoretical knowledge in chemistry, physics, and engineering into practice. During the event, the university team presented the engineering design of the "ChemRocket I" vehicle, powered by a chemical reaction, and successfully defended the Engineering Design Package (EDP) documentation covering technical solutions and safety requirements.
The research project was carried out in collaboration between the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University and the Academician U.A. Joldasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Mechanical Engineering. The team's scientific supervisor is PhD, Senior Lecturer Altynay Mambaeva.
Participation in the international engineering competition enhances students' research capacity, strengthens links between the university and scientific-industrial organizations, and contributes to reinforcing the institution's standing in the global academic space.
