During key meetings aimed at elevating academic cooperation between Kazakhstan and Korea to a new level, Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University expanded its partnership with leading higher education institutions of the Republic of Korea.

These efforts continued as part of Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s state visit to the Republic of Korea and the Kazakhstan–Korea higher education meetings organized during the inaugural "Republic of Korea – Central Asia" Summit in Seoul.

The Kazakhstan–Korea round table held in Seoul was attended by Sayasat Nurbek, Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, alongside heads of Kazakhstani universities and representatives of leading South Korean institutions. During the event, QyzPU signed three cooperation agreements with three South Korean universities: Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (CUFS), Seoul National University of Science and Technology (SeoulTech), and Korea National University of Education (KNUE).

The agreements open new opportunities for strengthening academic ties, developing joint educational and research projects, expanding faculty and student academic mobility, and promoting knowledge exchange.

Beibitkul Karimova, Chair of the Board – Rector of QyzPU, highlighted that developing international partnerships is one of the university's strategic priorities, stating: "The support of the Head of State and the systematic work of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education aimed at developing international cooperation enable Kazakhstani higher education institutions to take their partnerships with leading foreign universities to a new level. For QyzPU, partnering with Korea’s leading universities is a crucial step toward enhancing educational quality, strengthening research capacity, and creating new academic opportunities for students and faculty."

The new agreements expand QyzPU’s international partnership network and further strengthen educational and scientific ties between Kazakhstan and the Republic of Korea.
