Scientists of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University took part in the international scientific-practical conference "Professor Sh. Zhaparov's Contribution to the Development of Kyrgyz Linguistics," dedicated to the 90th anniversary of the prominent scholar, lexicographer, bibliographer, Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor Sheraly Zhaparov. The conference was held at the I. Arabaev Kyrgyz State University.
The scientific forum was organized within the framework of the conceptual direction of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, "National Spirit – World Height," as well as for the 37th anniversary of the adoption of the Kyrgyz language as the state language.
QyzPU was represented at the conference by Doctor of Philological Sciences, Professor T.N. Yermekova and the Head of the Department of Theory and Methodology of Kazakh Linguistics, Candidate of Philological Sciences, Acting Professor S.A. Asanbaeva. They participated in the event by special invitation.
During the conference, new research directions in modern Kazakh and Kyrgyz linguistics, issues of the interconnectedness of Turkic languages, topical problems of linguistics, and modern trends in the field of education were considered.
The discussions and exchange of views contributed to the strengthening of professional ties between Kazakhstani and Kyrgyz scientists and the development of joint scientific initiatives.
