The second day of the IV Forum of German Language Teachers of Central Asia was held at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University. During this part of the professional forum, participants reviewed the issues raised on the first day and identified common priorities for the teaching and development of the German language.

The strategic plenary session was chaired by Mereke Khafizkyzy Tankibayeva, President of the Association of German Language Teachers of Kazakhstan. The session focused on the key areas of the Central Asian Roadmap for 2026–2030.

The discussions then continued across three strategic areas. Participants presented their proposals on higher education and academic mobility, the relationship between education and the labor market, as well as the development of research and professional communities.

As part of the forum programme, participants took part in a cultural programme entitled “The German Footprint in the History and Architecture of Almaty.” During the city tour, participants explored the German cultural heritage reflected in the history and architecture of Almaty.

At the concluding session, the concept of the “Central Asian Roadmap for the Development of the German Language: Education, Innovation and Cooperation (2026–2030)” was adopted. The document is intended to serve as a long-term framework for advancing German language education in the region and strengthening cooperation in the field of education.

At the end of the forum, partners and participants were thanked for their contribution, and certificates were presented to speakers and participants.
