The Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University continues to implement the “Silver University” social project, aimed at supporting older adults and promoting the principle of Life-Long Learning.

The project provides participants with opportunities to acquire new knowledge and skills, maintain an active lifestyle, improve their well-being, and connect with like-minded people. The initiative aligns with the UN

Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 3 – “Good Health and Well-Being,” SDG 4 – “Quality Education,” and SDG 10 – “Reduced Inequalities.”

As part of the “Silver University,” enrollment is open for courses in the following areas:

  • Digital Literacy – learning to use smartphones and computers, accessing e-government services and messengers, and using the internet safely;
  • English Language – developing language skills for everyday communication and travel;
  • Dombyra Lessons – exploring Kazakhstan’s traditional musical heritage and learning to play the national musical instrument;
  • Choreography – classes designed to maintain physical activity, energy, and overall well-being;
  • Therapeutic Physical Education – a set of specialized exercises conducted under the guidance of professionals to support health and mobility.

Classes are held in a comfortable and welcoming environment, with educational programs adapted to the participants’ abilities and learning pace.

“Silver University” is a social project that provides opportunities to gain new knowledge, develop modern skills, maintain an active lifestyle, and strengthen social connections.
