Students from the Faculty of Physics, Mathematics and Digital Technologies of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University won third place at the 5th International CanSat Training Seminar and Aerospace Symposium, organized by ICESCO in Tashkent.

The CanSat project allows students to practically master the fundamental principles of aerospace technology by assembling a small model satellite equipped with sensors, a microcontroller, and a communication system. The model satellite measures altitude, atmospheric pressure, temperature, and coordinates, transmitting the collected data to a ground station.
This project is based on an interdisciplinary approach that integrates physics, engineering, programming, and data analysis. Participation in the international workshop enhanced the students' technical competence, improved their practical research skills, and provided an opportunity to establish professional connections with global experts in the aerospace field.
This international achievement demonstrates the high level of research activities at the university and the competitiveness of its students in the field of aerospace technology.
