Beibitkul Karimova, Chair of the Board and Rector of the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with Ilkhomjon Tukhtasinov, Rector of Uzbekistan State World Languages University, during her visit to Tashkent as part of CAIEF 2026 – the Central Asian International Education Forum.
The memorandum aims to strengthen academic and research ties between the two universities, promote academic mobility for students and faculty members, introduce modern digital methods for foreign language teaching, conduct joint research in translation studies and applied linguistics, and enhance teachers' professional development.
Uzbekistan State World Languages University ranked 201st worldwide in Linguistics in the QS World University Rankings by Subject 2026, improving its position by 50 places. This achievement opens up new opportunities to strengthen the academic and research capacity of both universities.
