As part of International Open Access Week 2026, the Research Support Department of the Seraly Kaniev Scientific Library at Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University held a five-day programme titled “OPEN SCIENCE: KNOWLEDGE FOR ALL.”

The programme addressed open science, access to scholarly publications, copyright, research data management, and the responsible use of artificial intelligence. Specialists from Clarivate and EBSCO, as well as a representative of the University of Abuja, delivered seminars and lectures.

Consultations were also provided for the university's faculty members and students on setting up and managing ORCID, Scopus Author ID, Web of Science Researcher Profile, and Google Scholar profiles. During practical sessions, participants developed their skills in searching for scholarly information, using Zotero and MyLOFT, and finding research publications in open repositories.
