The course Methods of Teaching the Kazakh Language, developed by Aigul Satbekova, Dean of the Faculty of Philology at the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences and Professor, has been approved by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan and is now available on the international Coursera platform.
The course aims to introduce learners to modern approaches to teaching Kazakh, effective educational practices, and ways to develop language and communication competencies.
The programme features video lectures, quizzes, practical assignments, and lesson-planning exercises. It focuses on developing listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills, while promoting the effective use of modern teaching technologies and digital resources.
