Winners of the Republican Debate Tournament "QyzPU CUP-VIII" have been determined

  At the initiative of the Center for Youth Policy, the traditional VIII Republican Debate Tournament "QyzPU CUP-VIII" was held, organized by the debate club "Parasatty nagyz liderler odagy", which has a 20-year history.

  The tournament was attended by 46 factions made up of the best debaters in the country - active youth from leading universities in various regions.

  The main goal of the event was to determine the strongest participants, as well as to stimulate the development of leadership qualities, sharpness of thinking and the ability to generate ideas in the younger generation.

  During the tournament, the participants showed high activity. Games were held in the American parliamentary format and the Lincoln-Douglas format. Also, students of our university distinguished themselves with their fair judging, demonstrating a high level of competence.

  Within the framework of the tournament, current pedagogical, global, economic, political and cultural topics were discussed. Intellectual games were held in parallel.

  On the first day of the event, in order to strengthen the debate platform among young people and support the participants, an excursion to the Arman cinema was organized with a screening of a wonderful film.

  According to the results of the tournament in the APF format, the third place with a prize of 100,000 tenge was taken by the faction "Rakhmet zhanym ruksat etkenine" from students of Suleimen Demirel University. The second place and a prize of 200,000 tenge went to the faction "Adi Sharipov", made up of students of Suleimen Demirel and Narxoz Universities. The first place and a prize of 300,000 tenge was won by the faction "Ak zhaiyk" from students of Almaty Technological University. In addition, the nomination "Best Aspiration" with a prize of 75,000 tenge was received by the faction "Phenomena" from students of Suleimen Demirel and Narxoz Universities. The title of "Best Faction" was awarded to the faction "Demeushimiz SDU DC".

  In the Lincoln-Douglas format, the title of the best speaker went to a student of Narxoz University, Aukenova Dinara, who received a prize of 100,000 tenge. In the nomination of "Best Speaker", a student of Almaty Technological University, Gabdulkhali Islam, was awarded, who received 75,000 tenge. The title of "Best Judge" was awarded to a graduate of the club "Parasatty Nagyz Liderler Odagy" Duysenbek Zhanerke, who received 50,000 tenge as a reward. At the end of the event, all the winners were awarded special prizes from the university.
