National Competition “IQ ALAMAN 2025: AI InnovateTech”

  As part of Science Month – 2025, the Department of Information Technology and Library Science at the Institute of Physics, Mathematics, and Digital Technologies organized the national student competition “IQ ALAMAN 2025: AI InnovateTech” for students of degree programs in Computer Science and Information Technology.

  The main objective of the event was to identify and support talented and gifted students, foster their creative abilities, contribute to the development of intellectual potential, engage students and young researchers in solving current scientific challenges, and increase interest in scientific activities.

  Ten teams from universities in Shymkent, Taldykorgan, and Almaty registered for the “IQ ALAMAN 2025: AI InnovateTech” competition. Nine of them took part in the contest.

  The participating teams included:

  • NaVi from U. Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University
  • Izviliny from M. Auezov South Kazakhstan University
  • Zhetysu Kyrandary from I. Zhansugurov Zhetysu University
  • Farabi from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
  • CreaTeam from Almaty Technological University
  • Intellect from Kazakh National Agrarian Research University
  • CodeQazaq from Almaty University of Power Engineering and Telecommunications
  • MVP from Abai Kazakh National Pedagogical University
  • IQLite from Kazakh National Women's Pedagogical University

  The teams competed across four stages:

  • IQ Coding
  • IQ Network
  • AI & Data Science
  • IQ Project

  As a result of the competition:

  • Third place was shared by IQLite and CreaTeam
  • Second place was awarded to Farabi from Al-Farabi Kazakh National University
  • First place was awarded to NaVi from U. Zhanibekov South Kazakhstan Pedagogical University
