An open meeting was held at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University (QyzPU) with Malik Otarbayev, Advisor to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The event, held under the theme “The Future of Kazakhstan: Unity, Development, and Renewal”, brought together faculty members and students to discuss President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev’s policy speech delivered at the IV National Kurultai in Burabay.

During the meeting, Malik Otarbayev conveyed greetings from the Head of State and emphasized the strategic importance of the Kurultai as a major political platform where key decisions shaping the country’s development path are discussed and adopted.

“As a Presidential Advisor, I have already visited several regions. We plan to hold such meetings across the entire country. The National Kurultai is not just a consultative body — it is a vital institution aimed at making concrete decisions,” noted Malik Otarbayev.

Chairwoman of the Board – Rector of QyzPU, Gulmira Qanay, highlighted key issues raised at the Kurultai and stressed the significance of educational institutions as bridges of trust between the state and society. She also expressed her support for the President’s initiatives aimed at strengthening national values and fostering spiritual and moral education, including the “Adal Azamat” program.

During the open dialogue, faculty members and active students shared their thoughts on the discussed topics. Lyazzat Adilbekova, candidate of philological sciences and Associate Professor of the Department of Kazakh Literature, delivered a thoughtful presentation titled “National Unity – The Foundation of Sustainable Development”, where she outlined the President’s key initiatives and strategic programs.

“Kazakhstan is among the top 25 countries in the UN e-Government Development Index. Programs such as ‘National Fund for Children’, ‘Keleshek’, and significant investments in education and healthcare are all concrete steps taken for the benefit of future generations,” said Lyazzat Adilbekova.

She also voiced strong support for the President’s vision of building a Fair, Safe, Clean, and Strong Kazakhstan, stressing the importance of every citizen’s active role in this process.

At the end of the meeting, the university community expressed full support for the President’s reforms and affirmed their readiness to actively contribute to promoting national values and advancing science and education. In his closing remarks, Malik Otarbayev wished the faculty and students continued success, emphasizing that the future of the nation lies in the hands of educated and determined young people — especially young Kazakh women.
