      Team “TarikhMANIA” Wins Prize at National Student Olympiad

      The XVI National Student Olympiad in the field of History was held at the Buketov Karaganda Research University. The event, dedicated to the 180th anniversary of Abai Kunanbayev, took place under the theme “Abai – Herald of Eternal Values” and brought together students from higher education institutions across Kazakhstan.

      Seventeen teams from all over the country took part in this large-scale intellectual competition. Among them, the “TarikhMANIA” team from the Department of History of the Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts at the Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University (QyzPU) demonstrated a high level of knowledge and preparation, earning a 3rd-degree diploma.

      The team consisted of second- and third-year students of the History educational program — Lyazzat Zhanaeva, Akbota Tuimebai, Altyngul Zhomart, and Shugyla Shaimuratova. The team was led by Aigerim Mukan, Master’s degree holder and lecturer in the Department of History.
