Aruzhan Zhenisova, a third-year student at the Institute of Philology of Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University, studying in the “Philology” program, won 2nd place in the national competition of student scientific research papers (NIRS). Her academic advisor was Gulmira Abdirasilova, Candidate of Philological Sciences and Acting Professor.
The research topic — “Speech Manipulation in Social Networks” — is highly relevant both linguistically and socially. In her work, Aruzhan Zhenisova addressed key aspects of modern communication: verbal manipulation, cyberbullying, and the linguistic tools used to realize these phenomena. Special attention was given to the analysis of communicative strategies and tactics employed in digital interactions.
This achievement reflects the high level of training of our university’s students and the potential of young researchers in the humanities. We are proud of our students’ accomplishments and strive to ensure their research becomes even deeper and more significant for both science and society as a whole.
We congratulate Aruzhan Zhenisova and her academic advisor on their well-deserved victory! We wish them new scientific discoveries and professional success!
