At the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University, with the support of the Mental Health Development Center, an informational and educational meeting on the topic of “Men’s Health” was held with the participation of university staff. The event is taking place from May 12 to May 16, 2025, and is organized as part of the program of the National Commission on Women’s Affairs and Family-Demographic Policy under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

The main goal of the event is to raise awareness about reproductive and general health, to eliminate stereotypes and stigma related to seeking medical care, and to emphasize the importance of male responsibility in family and reproductive matters.

During the meeting, speaker Aibek Abduvahitov, a urologist from the “Almaty Clinic” medical center, gave a detailed presentation on male reproductive health, common urological diseases, preventive measures, early diagnosis, and maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

The speaker also addressed issues often encountered among young people, explained the consequences of neglecting one’s health, and stressed the importance of regular preventive check-ups. In addition, he discussed the harmful effects of bad habits such as smoking, alcohol consumption, poor nutrition, and physical inactivity, providing practical recommendations.

This event became an important step in fostering responsible attitudes among men towards their health and in promoting reproductive culture.
