The First Stage of the Intellectual Tournament “Aqyl Battle CUP” KVN Has Started in Kazakhstan

  On May 23, 2025, with the support of the Ministry of Culture and Information of the Republic of Kazakhstan, one of the country’s most popular intellectual tournaments — the “Aqyl Battle CUP” KVN — officially kicked off. This intellectual competition is held as part of the project “The Fate of the Language is the Fate of the Nation”, initiated by the student public organization “Bolashaq Qazaqstanğa”.

  The competition is aimed at young people aged 14 to 35 and is not only a knowledge-based contest but also an important cultural initiative focused on expanding the use of the Kazakh language. The main goal of the project is to spark young people's interest in learning while developing their intellectual and creative potential.

  A major highlight of this year is that the tournament will be held at the international level. The grand final will feature the 20 best teams selected from all regions of Kazakhstan. In addition, representatives of Turkic-speaking nations are expected to participate. The total prize fund is 3,600,000 tenge. Finalists will compete for substantial cash prizes by showcasing their knowledge, erudition, and logical thinking skills.

  The next stage of the tournament will take place on May 30–31, 2025, and will be held online via the mobile application “Aqyl Battle” — specially designed for youth from other regions of the country.

  The project is being implemented within the framework of a state grant commissioned by the Ministry of Information and Social Development of the Republic of Kazakhstan with the support of the “Center for Civil Initiatives Support” NCO.
