      On May 28, 2025, Akylbek Sagindykov, Head of the Center for Mental Health Development, held a meeting with second-year students of the Institute of Social Sciences, Humanities and Arts.

      The main objective of the event was to strengthen the psychological resilience of future professionals, raise awareness about the dangers of destructive religious ideologies, and foster a conscious worldview grounded in national values.

      During the meeting, important topics such as mental health, personal development, and the prevention of religious extremism were discussed in detail. Students received clear information on how to recognize the signs of radical religious movements, practical ways to protect themselves, and the significance of maintaining interfaith harmony in Kazakhstan.

      Akylbek Sagindykov emphasized the importance of seeking reliable sources of information in matters of religion and advised young people to avoid dubious religious groups. He also answered students’ questions openly and shared insights from his own life experience.
