The Chair of the Board – Rector of Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University, Gulmira Qanay, held a special meeting with distinguished representatives who bring pride to the university and presented them with Letters of Appreciation and commemorative gifts.

Among the awardees were the Women’s Choir of the Department of Music, Institute of Social and Humanitarian Sciences and Arts, and the vocal quartet "Egizder Tolqyny", composed of students from the "Music Education" program. These talented ensembles won the Grand Prix at the 1st International Art Festival – “Tashkent Spring Festival” held in the capital of Uzbekistan and received invitations to participate in international competitions in Dubai and Baku.

Choir conductor and mentor Daulet Zhanibek noted that over 100 artists from 26 countries participated in the competition, and the QyzPU students demonstrated an exceptional level of artistry.

“Among all the participants, the art of our students was especially recognized. They are truly talented. This is the result of great dedication and hard work. I’m confident greater achievements lie ahead,” – he said.

Also honored with a Letter of Appreciation was Aruzhan Miravildayeva, a 3rd-year student from the "Physical Culture and Sports" program. She won the national championship in “Zhamby atu”, a traditional Kazakh sport that involves archery on horseback. The athlete shared that she has been practicing the sport for two years, continuing the traditions of her ancestors and reviving the national spirit.

“Zhamby atu is a precious legacy of our ancestors. At the recent national championship, I won both gold and bronze medals. I am grateful to the university’s leadership for their attention and support,” – she said.

In her speech, Rector Gulmira Qanay emphasized her ongoing commitment to supporting talented youth and expressed confidence in their bright futures:

“Today’s achievements are the beginning of tomorrow’s great victories. Our talented girls, who bring honor to the country, are our pride. We are always ready to support your well-rounded development,” – the Rector said.

This case clearly demonstrates that female students of the Kazakh National Women’s Teacher Training University reach heights not only in science and education, but also in art and sports.
