Today, Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University held a regular meeting of its Academic Council. For the first time in the university’s history, in a formal and ceremonial setting, several distinguished members of the academic staff were awarded the honorary title of “Honorary Professor” in recognition of their significant contributions to the university’s development.
The prestigious title was conferred upon Kulpash Sariyeva, Rakhiya Darmenova, Agima Isagulova, Bulat Zhiembaev and Aitjamal Musina.
This title serves as a mark of deep appreciation and respect for their outstanding contributions to science and the advancement of the education system.
Additionally, the council reviewed the university’s performance over the 2022–2024 academic years and discussed the strategic directions for its future development. Chair of the Board – Rector Gulmira Qanay highlighted the university’s key achievements in recent years and outlined the institution’s priority objectives moving forward.
The meeting addressed a range of important topics, including improving the quality of education, enhancing academic processes, developing scientific capacity, promoting digital transformation, and strengthening international cooperation. Members of the council also made several proposals and adopted concrete resolutions.
At the conclusion of the event, active members of the Academic Council were recognized with tokens of appreciation. Letters of Gratitude were awarded on behalf of the Rector, and in keeping with tradition, honorary chapans (ceremonial robes) were presented — symbolizing deep respect for the collective efforts of the university’s faculty and scholars.
Kazakh National Women's Teacher Training University remains committed to strengthening its leadership in the preparation of highly qualified educators, continuing its role as one of the country’s foremost institutions in science and education.
